Hey there! I'm Shiloh!

I'm the owner and stylist behind The Hair Chief Salon, but there's a whole lot more to me than just doing hair!

I'm a wife, a mama bear to three adult-ish men (because let's face it, are they ever really grown?), and a huge animal lover. Give me a good Hallmark movie or Practical Magic, and I'm a happy girl! I'm a little sarcastic, pretty straightforward, and I've never been accused of being too quiet. I love a good conversation, I laugh often, and fair warning, if you start crying, there's a pretty good chance I'll be crying right along with you.

I'm open minded, I value people, and I truly believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable being exactly who they are. Life is messy, beautiful, complicated, and sometimes downright ridiculous, and I think we all need a place where we can just be ourselves without judgment.

That's exactly what I want my salon to be.

Of course, I love doing hair! I love the creativity, the transformations, and figuring out what works best for each person. I'm especially interested in how our hair changes as we get older, whether it's those pesky grays, hormonal changes, or hair that suddenly seems to have a mind of its own. But what I love even more is the connection that happens along the way.

Nothing fills my cup more than helping someone leave my chair feeling a little more confident, a little more carefree, and genuinely heard. Whether we're talking about your hair, your family, life's ups and downs, or absolutely nothing important at all, I want you to know you're welcome here.

My chair is a safe place. Come as you are, bring your whole self, and don't worry about having it all together. I certainly don't!

I can't promise we'll solve all of life's problems during your appointment, but we can definitely talk about them while making your hair look fabulous!
